As reported in an earlier article, with the change in season, restaurants have started to offer autumn favorites. Following are more restaurants that have added fall flavors to their menus.
The Village California Bistro and Wine Bar in Santana Row has started to roll out its fall menu. The autumn menus will be posted online starting on Monday, October 24, 2011. The focus of the autumn menus is on comfort dishes like chicken & dumplins’, butternut squash & chestnut ravioli, and braised short ribs. Seasonal dessert offerings include autumn apple bundt cake, four layer carrot cake, ginger pumpkin cheesecake, and vanilla bean panna cotta. Forbes Mill Steakhouse, located at 206 N. Santa Cruz Avenue in Los Gatos, has current seasonal specials that include fig, walnut, and arugula salad, boneless short ribs with a soy ginger glaze and Yukon gold mashed potatoes, and pumpkin cheesecake. Forbes Mill Steakhouse is open every day for dinner, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Pinkberry starts offering its new seasonal flavor, pumpkin, on Friday, October 21, 2011 in most stores according to their Facebook page. There are numerous Pinkberry locations in the San Jose area.Customers should contact their local Pinkberry to verify when the seasonal flavor will be available in their particular store.
