As reported in previous articles (click here for part 1 and here for part 2) numerous South Bay restaurants are open on Thanksgiving Day 2011 and offer special menus. Here are additional restaurants that offer Thanksgiving Day menus.
California Café in Palo Alto, located in the Stanford Barn at 700 Welch Road, offers a holiday buffet on Thanksgiving Day. Executive Chef Mark Pettyjohn is celebrating all the freshest ingredients of the season. Starters include roasted butternut squash soup, persimmon salad, organic mixed greens, a Mediterranean hummus display, green bean salad, chilled seafood, house smoked salmon, and more. Main dishes include grilled beef kabobs, ham, salmon, vegetable lasagna, turkey breast, different pastas, and prime rib of beef. Sides include whipped potatoes, sautéed vegetables, bourbon-pecan roasted sweet potatoes, apple-sage stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Finally, there will be plenty of dessert options such as traditional pumpkin pie, cinnamon apple tarte tatin, chocolate mousse cake and more. The buffet is $38.00 per adult and $9.50 per child. California Café in Los Gatos offers a 4-course Prix Fixe meal from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The cost for adults is $42.00 per person. Children’s bento boxes are available for $13.50 each. Reservations can be made via Open Table.
The Grill on the Alley, located at 172 South Market Street in San Jose offers a 3-course fixed meal for $69.00 per person. The meal includes butternut squash soup, roast turkey breast with sourdough stuffing and chocolate bread pudding. Reservations can be made via Open Table.
