
San Jose food events
Festival season has started, and there are several festivals to explore in the South Bay this weekend. On Saturday, the 3rd Annual Downtown Gilroy Wine Stroll takes place, and Boogie on the Bayou takes place in downtown Campbell on both Saturday and Sunday. As usual, there are also great food trucks at Moveable Feast on Friday night and on Saturday for lunch.
Friday, May 18: Moveable Feast Willow Glen, a weekly food truck meet up, will take place on Curtner Avenue at Canoas Garden Avenue in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Here is the line-up of this week’s trucks: Treatbot, Sam’s Chowdermobile, Curry Up Now, No Way Jose, MoBowl, Le Bon, Fairycakes, Bigg Shrimp’n, Sanguchon, Taqueria Angelicas, Chairman, Babaloo, and Jo on the Go. Saturday, May 19: Boogie on the Bayou takes place in downtown Campbell from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be arts, crafts, entertainment, shopping, Cajun and New Orleans-style food, beer, wine, and more. For more information visit the Downtown Campbell website.

Sunday, May 20: Those who are looking for a special Sunday dinner but do not want to prepare it themselves, can enjoy a home-style supper, served family-style at California Café in Los Gatos. There are three different starters, an entrée, and three sides each week, and the menu changes every week. Click here for this week’s menu.
