San Jose food events
Following are several Silicon Valley food and restaurant events for the coming week.
Monday, July 16: A Bacon Tapas and Wine Dishcrawl takes place at Rootstock Wine Bar in Los Gatos. The bacon dishes will be paired with Patland Winery’s award winning local wines. The menu includes goat cheese, honey, and bacon crostini, tomato, bacon, and blue cheese crostini, quiche and crispy bacon, bacon wrapped shrimp and asparagus, peppers stuffed with bacon, and trio of bacon covered chocolate. Monday, July 16: Moveable Feast Southside takes place at the VTA Blossom Hill Station parking lot at Blossom Hill Road and Blossom Avenue in San Jose from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For this week’s line up of mobile restaurants, like Moveable Feast on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
Friday, July 20: Moveable Feast Willow Glen, a weekly food truck meet up, takes place on Curtner Avenue at Canoas Garden Avenue in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For this week’s line up of mobile restaurants, like Moveable Feast on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
Saturday, July 21: The 26th Connoisseurs’ Marketplace takes place on Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be more than 250 artists, music, food, wine, beer, a Kids’ Fun Zone, and more.
Saturday, July 21: Moveable Feast Garden City, a weekly food truck meet up, takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 350 Saratoga Avenue (next to Garden City Casino) in San Jose. For this week’s line up of mobile restaurants, like Moveable Feast on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

Sunday, July 22: For those who are looking for a special Sunday night dinner but do not want to prepare it themselves, LB Steak on Santana Row offers Sunday “Prime” Time. For $39.95 per person diners get to enjoy a 12 oz. cut of meat served au jus, a loaded baked potato and braised greens.
